3D printed brackets and fixtures in New Zealand

Brackets & fixtures: printed to fit.

3D printed brackets and fixtures solve the awkward mounting jobs that no off-the-shelf part quite fits: an odd angle, a specific screw spacing, or a holder shaped exactly to the tool. We print them in tough PETG and precise PLA, with instant quotes and NZ-wide delivery.

Prices from $5 with an instant online 3D printing quote, couriered NZ-wide.

What brackets and fixtures can be 3D printed?

Mounts, holders, jigs and corner brackets, especially ones with unusual angles, hole patterns or shapes.

  • Wall and under-desk mounts
  • Camera, light and sensor brackets
  • Furniture and table-leg brackets
  • Drilling and assembly jigs
  • Tool holders and workshop organisers
  • Cable guides and clips

Which material is best for 3D printed brackets and fixtures?

PETG for most brackets: it's tougher than PLA and doesn't creep as much under heat. PLA is stiffer and more accurate, so it suits indoor jigs and holders that need an exact size.

Compare PLA, PETG and TPU properties side by side, including heat, UV and flexibility.

How do I get brackets and fixtures made if I don't have a 3D file?

Send the dimensions, hole positions and what the bracket holds. We design it in CAD with enough material where the loads are, and quote each part at a fixed rate.

What makes 3D printed brackets and fixtures print well?

Layer direction decides a bracket's strength, so design and orient it so the load runs along the layers.

  • Add fillets where arms meet the base.
  • Use 4+ walls and 30–50% infill for load-bearing brackets.
  • Use countersunk or counterbored holes for screws.
  • Avoid thin, unsupported tabs that snap along a layer line.

How much do 3D printed brackets and fixtures cost in NZ?

Small brackets under 50g are a flat $5 in PLA or PETG. Larger, heavier brackets are priced by material and print time in the instant quote.

What else do people ask about brackets and fixtures?

Here are the questions we hear most about 3D printed brackets and fixtures. Anything else, just ask.

How strong are 3D printed brackets?

Strong enough for most household, workshop and display uses when printed in PETG with the right orientation and infill. They aren't a substitute for rated metal brackets on safety-critical loads.

Can you print a jig for my workshop?

Yes. Printed drilling, gluing and assembly jigs are quick and cheap. Send your drawing or measurements and we'll design and print it.

Can brackets be used outdoors?

Yes, in PETG. It handles UV and heat far better than PLA, and won't rust.
