$5 3D printing for small parts in New Zealand
Our $5 3D printing deal is simple: any PLA or PETG part under 50g is a flat $5, however long it takes to print. Keychains, clips, spacers, knobs, miniatures and test pieces, priced the moment you upload.

What counts as a $5 print?
Any single part printed in PLA or PETG that weighs less than 50g. Flexible TPU parts under 50g are a flat $8, because TPU prints much more slowly.
- 50g is about the weight of a hen's egg in plastic.
- The little tugboat pictured is well under the limit.
- No minimum order and no waiting on a manual quote.
- Dispatched within 3–4 days, like every order.
What can I get printed for $5?
Most small household fixes, gifts and hobby parts: keychains, cable clips, knob replacements, spacers, small brackets, game pieces and miniatures.
- 3D printed replacement parts →Most small, non-structural plastic parts can be printed.
- 3D printed models and miniatures →Terrain, buildings, vehicles, figures and scale models, especially pieces from about 25 mm up to the size of the print bed.
- 3D printed signs and gifts →Anything flat-ish with raised or inset text and graphics, plus small personalised objects.
Why is it a flat price?
Because small parts cost more to handle than to print. A flat price means you know the cost upfront and we don't spend time quoting tiny jobs.
Larger parts are priced automatically from material and machine time. If you're not sure your file is ready to print, the free design for 3D printing review will flag problems first, and our guide to finding free 3D models is full of $5-sized ideas.
What else should I know about $5 prints?
A few details on shipping, batching and colours.
How do I know if my part is under 50g?
Upload the STL. The instant quote estimates the weight from the model, and if it's under 50g the price shows as $5 straight away.
Is shipping included in the $5 price?
No. Shipping is a flat $12 per order, however many parts are in it, or free if you pick up from Mt Eden, Auckland.
Can I order several $5 prints at once?
Yes. Each part under 50g is $5, and you only pay shipping once per order, so batching parts together is the cheapest way to order.
Does the $5 deal apply to multi-colour prints?
No. Multi-colour prints use extra filament and time for colour changes, so they're quoted individually. Non-stock colours add $4 per part.
